Magical Holidays
It’s rare to have all 8 of us together for 9 days, but it happened! With the help of Mother Nature we got 2 extra days added on to our time together. I would have to say the three 13 year olds had to most fun of the bunch!
HEDWIG at the Belasco Theatre! Katie and I are very excited for this show. We are both huge NPH fans #ourmemories

Woodrum Clan Completes Day 1 on the Return
After an awesome week in Ashland, we are headed East to the Midwest (such a strange, geographically challenged country that we live in). We had a first for our family… camping!!! We were in Three Island Crossing State Park in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. We survived it, loved it, and plan on doing it again tonight. Today will take us to the Grand Tetons and then North to Yellowstone. Very excited crew on board.
Tori Amos @ Britt Festival
Loving our date night at Britt with Tori Amos. Thanks my love.
Welcome to Oregon
Hooray! Oregon! Just the state we wanted to be in. When all of us four saw the sign that read “Welcome to Oregon” we all got real excited.
We hopped out of the car and took a picture!
Even after we reached the border we still have like five hours left of the drive. But at least we made it to the right state, am I right?!
Lincoln’s Head Statue
We were here exactly 2 years ago. Strange to be back. This time, just stopping in for lunch and an updated picture with Mr. Lincoln… and, yes, Colby is walking around eating a chicken leg.
Day 1 – Complete :: Auburn Hills, MI to Kearney, NE
I have three excellent co-pilots, and they are quite the troopers. We put 920 solid miles behind us today. We’re staring at Salt Lake City for tomorrow, which would be about 12.5 hours. The kids are bummed because they want the 3rd day to be shorter. This means we may need to put another 14-15 hour day in. We’ll see. For now, we’re just excited to be out of the pool, lying in bed, and watching horrible TV.
I’m at Melia Hill Westbound Rest Area! Dinner in Omaha, Nebraska, about 700 miles into Day 1. Final stop is Kearney, about 3 hours from here. #oregonorbust On Our Way Across Country to Oregon
